Potatoes - 800 g, Onions - 50-70 g, Milk - 2 cups, Water (or broth) - 3-4 cups, Butter - 2 tbsp. spoons, Flour - 1-2 tbsp. spoons, Salt - 1 tsp (to taste), Pepper - 0.25 tsp (to taste), White bread - 100 g, or roll for croutons - 1 pc.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over a low heat.
Pour flour into a saucepan of loose butter and stir fry it over a low heat (1-2 minutes).
