Rowan jam
1 serving
We prepare mountain ash for jam in the same way as for jam. Then we warm the berries and cook them in a small amount of water (1/2 cup per 1 kg of fruits), adding sugar to several steps (1 kg of mountain ash - a little more than a kilogram of sugar). Cook, stirring and removing the foam until the jam is ready: a drop of it on the plate should quickly thicken and not spread. We put the hot jam in heated clean cans, cover it with a towel and let it cool, and then tie it tightly, wrapped with parchment paper, and transfer it to the pantry.
