Bean cod (morue aux haricots)

Cook beans in salted water. Boil the fish separately, cool it and cut into small pieces. Put butter and olive oil in a deep pan and fry onions and garlic in it. Mash 2 tbsp. spoons of cooked beans and mix with fried onions and oil. Put the fish and beans in the pan, salt! and pepper to taste and keep on a medium heat for 15 minutes. Serve on slices of fried bread.
