Herring "under a fur coat"




We cook herring under a fur coat - a favorite snack for many. Boil potatoes, carrots and beets separately, cool, peel. Mash the potatoes with a fork. Grate carrots, beets, pickled or pickled cucumbers and a quarter of bulb onions on a fine grater. Combine the vegetables and mix with vegetable oil. Gut the herring, remove the skin, thoroughly remove the bones, rinse and dry. Cut the herring fillet into small pieces. Thinly chop the remaining part of the onion, put on the bottom of the salad bowl, put the chopped herring on the onion with an even layer, drizzle with lemon juice and vegetable oil.
