Raw beetroot salad with garlic and nuts
To preserve the beneficial properties of beets as much as possible, we cook from raw beets. Raw beetroot salad with garlic and nuts is not only healthy, but also very tasty.
beets - 1 kg, garlic - 1-2 heads, walnut - 10 pcs., lemon juice to taste, or grape wine to taste, honey - 1 tbsp. spoon
Beets should be peeled only if they are spoiled or dry during storage, but it is preferable to use beets in their natural form. Grate it on a fine grater or use a meat grinder. Peel and crush the garlic. Bake the peeled nuts in a stove, but carefully make sure that they do not burn out, but become slightly more fragile and acquire the corresponding aroma. Mix the beetroot with the garlic and nuts. Mix lemon juice or wine with honey and sprinkle the salad. If desired, spices can be used. Raw beetroot salad with garlic and nuts can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Of course, it is better to cook it again every time, but for the hostess it is an additional burden, and beets make it possible to store the dish for a longer time than other vegetables.
