Honey chicken wings




Uncomplicated, quick but original recipe for chicken wings in honey with ginger and soy sauce. The spice combination gives the dish a unique subtle "oriental" aroma and taste, and the combination with honey - a savoury sweet taste and crunchy properties.

chicken wings - 12 pcs., red chilli pepper 1 pc., ground red pepper - 1 teaspoon, ground ginger - 1 teaspoon, lemon (peel) 1 pc., sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. spoons, fresh cilantro 1 tbspoon, soy sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons, honey - 3.5 tbsp. spoons, cilantro (sprigs for decoration) to taste

How to make honey wings? Peel the chili peppers from the seeds, finely chop, combine with ground red peppers, ginger and crushed lemon skins (leave some to garnish) and mix thoroughly. Grate washed and dried chicken wings with this mixture and leave for 2-3 hours so that the meat is soaked in spices. In a frying pan with half the warmed vegetable oil, lower six wings and fry them for 10 minutes, constantly turning until the wings are crisp and golden. After that, remove them from the pan and dry with a napkin to remove excess fat. Then, in the remaining oil, fry the remaining wings in the same way. In the oil pan in which the wings were prepared, pour cilantro greens and fry them over high heat, stirring constantly, for about 30 seconds. Then put the fried wings in the pan again, mix them with cilantro and fry for another 1 minute. After that, add soy sauce and honey to the pan and continue to fry the wings in honey and sauce, stirring, for another 1 minute. Serve the honey wings hot, putting them on the dish and decorating them with thin strips of lemon peel and cilantro sprigs.
