Salt turnip
Peel turnips and cut into mugs. Put the pillbox in layers in a small tub or a spacious glass jar, pouring cumin and salt over each layer until it is filled. Fill with boiled water so that the water covers the turnip. We put cabbage leaves on top, a wooden circle, and a load on it. Put a tub in a cellar or in a cold, dry place. You can eat turnips in two weeks.
