Pickled pumpkin
A very simple recipe for pickled pumpkin with spices and lemon zest. It will not be difficult to cook this unusual snack. Pickled pumpkin is good to serve to the bird, veal.
Pumpkin - 1 kg, Vinegar 3% - 500 ml, Sugar - 350 g, Cloves - 2 pcs., Ground cinnamon - 1 pinch (to taste), Grated lemon (or orange) zest - 1 teaspoon (to taste)The products are in front of you.
Pumpkin is peeled and cut into cubes or bars.
The lemon zest is grated.
Vinegar (3%), sugar and spices are mixed. Heat by stirring to dissolve the sugar.
The chopped pumpkin is placed in the marinade and boiled until clear, but not too soft (about 15 minutes).
Pickled pumpkin together with hot marinade is transferred to the prepared jar.
The jar is closed and cooled. Pickled pumpkin is stored in a cold place. Enjoy your meal!
