White cabbage with tomatoes (casserole)

grind cabbage, salt and grind to transparency. cut the tomatoes into mugs. spit the finely chopped onion with half the fat. add cabbage and simmer until soft, then sprinkle with red pepper. Put cabbage in two layers in a dish greased with fat, between which, as well as on top of the second layer mugs of chopped tomatoes sprinkled with crushed bay sheets. pour over the remaining fat and bake in the oven at a moderate temperature. serve with emptied or boiled potatoes sprinkled with herbs

white cabbage - 1.5 kg, tomatoes - 500-600 g, vegetable oil - 0.75 cups, onions - 1 pc., red pepper to taste, bay leaf to taste, salt to taste
