Bean cod

Cook beans in salted water. Boil the fish separately, cool and cut into small pieces. Put butter and vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry onions in it. Mash 2 tablespoons cooked beans, mix with fried onions and butter, season with crushed garlic. Put the fish and beans in the pan, salt, pepper, season with the resulting mixture and simmer over low heat until tender. Serve on slices of toasted bread.
