Herring in tomato sauce

Dry well-soaked herring fillet on soft paper and cut with a sharp knife into thinner slices as possible; put the slices in a deep dish in the form of two fillets. Pour the herring fillet with the sauce. Put in a cold place for 5-6 hours. Before serving, decorate with a branch of dill or pour (strips) chopped dill. To the herring in tomato sauce, serve hot boiled potatoes.
