Braised cod

Cod - 350 g, Onions - 1 pc., Butter - 1 tbsp. spoon, Sour cream - 125 g, Salt - 2 pinches, Ground black pepper - 2 pinchesPrepare products for braised cod.

How to make braised cod: Cut the cod into pieces, salt (1 pinch), sprinkle with pepper (1 pinch).

Peel and grate the onions or puree with a blender.

In a shallow saucepan, heat the butter.

Fold the fish into a shallow saucepan with the heated fat. Top with the onion, grated on a fine grater. Close with cover. Simmer in a closed dish over low heat for about 20 minutes. If necessary, add 2-3 tbsp. spoons of water.

Prepare sour cream sauce. To do this, add salt and the remaining ground pepper to sour cream.

Pour sour cream sauce over the fish and simmer the cod for a few more minutes (5-10 minutes).

Place the braised cod on a deep dish. Braised cod is served at the table with potatoes or a salad of fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
