How to make pickled herring: Soak two salted herring with milk for a day, changing water once or twice.
Peel the herring by separating the meat from the ridge bone.
Cut the fillet into pieces.
Peel, wash and slice into thin strips of onions and carrots.
Then fold into a jar, transferring the fish to finely chopped onions and carrots. Add a few peppercorns, mustard seeds and bay leaves.
Let's deal with the sauce prepared in the following way: vegetable oil is gradually added to the milk well ground in a bowl and diluted with vinegar until a whitish sauce is obtained.
