Mashed potatoes

Peeled, washed potatoes, cut into 2-4 parts, and small whole, pour boiling water to the level of the upper layer of potatoes, salt and, covering the dishes with a lid, cook for 20-30 minutes. Then drain the whole decoction, dry, then mash the potatoes, add hot milk, butter, salt to taste and mix well. It is advisable to add melted or creamy butter to mashed potatoes.
