Potatoes baked with smoked lard

Thinly chop the onion head and fry lightly (not browned) in one tablespoon of oil, along with a piece of smoked lard cut into small cubes. Add the raw potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin circles. Pour in the meat broth so that the potatoes are covered with them. Salt to taste, add ground pepper, put in a hot oven. Hold until the potatoes are soft. Pour sour cream on the table before serving.
