Potatoes toasted with romanian slices

take medium-sized potatoes (better oblong), peel, cut into very thin circles (as smooth as possible), rinse in several waters until the water is clear, dry well in a napkin. heat more lard mixed with an equal amount of vegetable oil, put the potatoes in small portions so as not to cool the lard. as they fry, remove and place a new portion. salt when all the potatoes are ready. potatoes should be browned and crisp. serve as a side dish to a roast or as a snack.

potatoes - 1 kg, lard - 4 tbsp. spoons, vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. spoons, salt to taste
