Raw, peeled and chopped potatoes are lightly toasted in a pan of vegetable oil. It is diluted with meat or vegetable decoction (boiling). It boils for 15 minutes, after which cucumbers cut into squares (pre-soaked in warm water) are added. Together with cucumbers, potatoes should boil for another 20 minutes. Tomato puree is added at the end.
