Chicken in soy sauce

Chicken in soy sauce is a simple dish with few ingredients. Chicken is prepared in soy sauce with the addition of wine and spring onions. This mixture can be stored in the refrigerator and used not only as a sauce for chicken, but also as a basis for sauces of other dishes.

chicken - 1.5 kg, soy sauce - 200 ml, water - 1 cup, brown sugar - 100 g, wine - 1 cup, green onion - 4 pcs.

Prepare the chicken, rinse and dry. Tie legs and wings. Cut the green onions into rings. Pour water, soy sauce, wine into the pan and add spring onions. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Lower the chicken into a boiling liquid, cover and cook over medium heat for 35-40 minutes, turning once or twice for even boiling. Remove the chicken and cool. Immediately before serving, separate the chicken meat from the bones and cut into small pieces. As a sauce, separately serve the part of the soy mixture in which the chicken was cooked.
