Chicken with prunes and lemon
The chicken is first simmered in the oven, and then - on the stove, in a sauce with prunes and lemon.
chicken - 1 pc., salt to taste, vegetable oil - 5 tbsp. spoons, prunes - 600 g, flour - 2 tbsp. spoons, sugar - 1 tbsp. spoon, lemon to taste
Salt the processed chicken carcass, put in a dish with heated butter and place in the oven. When the chicken browns, pour hot water (1 glass) into the dishes. In the oven, the chicken is simmered until tender. Rinse prunes thoroughly with warm water. Heat the vegetable oil, brown the flour in the oil, dilute with warm water and boil the sauce until thickened. Add prunes to the sauce and cook over a moderate heat. Sugar sand with 1 tsp water in a small saucepan put on fire. Stir until the sugar turns brown. Remove the pan from the heat, pour in 3-4 spoons of warm water and add the resulting gum to the sauce with prunes, adding salt to taste. When the prunes swell, put the chicken cut into pieces in it, along with the meat juice and slices of peeled lemon seeds. The prunes chicken is then simmered over a low heat for 15-20 minutes.
