Meat in pomegranate juice
Clean the pomegranate, mash the grains with a wooden pusher in a colander with small holes. Cut the meat into small bars, mix with pomegranate juice and marinate for 30 minutes. Then put the meat and juice in a pan and simmer on the smallest heat, tightly closing the lid so that the juice does not boil. If the juice does boil, top up with a little boiling water. If necessary, add the meat at the end of cooking (usually this is not required). Boiled rice is recommended for the side dish.
