Steam meat knels

Steamed meat sticks are a tender and delicate meat dish, a great choice for children's and diet meals. A simple recipe for meat knels will help you prepare this dish.

beef - 1 kg, bread - 200 g, butter - 50 g, eggs - 5 pcs., milk - 300 g, salt to taste

How to make steamed meat sticks: The meat is ground in a double-lattice meat grinder (or with one lattice twice), combined with crusted wheat white bread pre-soaked in part of the milk (or in water) and squeezed out, and once again passed through the meat grinder. For making knels, butter, egg whites and chilled milk are introduced into the prepared cutlet mass (meat is passed through a meat grinder three times). Beat with a mixer or a blender until homogeneous, lush mass is obtained. Salt is introduced at the end of whipping. Small knels are formed from a light, tender mass with two tablespoons and boiled for a couple of 15-20 minutes. When served, steam sticks can be poured with melted butter. Bread in the knel mass can be replaced with cottage cheese or viscous rice porridge.
