Braised beef

cut the beef into 4cm side cubes, finely chop or crush the garlic. heat the vegetable oil in a wok or pan and put out the garlic. pour in the soy sauce and stir-fry the meat until brown. reduce the fire and pour in 3 tablespoons of water. cover and simmer for 1 hour, adding water, if necessary. peel and roughly chop the carrots and tomatoes. add chopped vegetables to the meat, which by this time should be quite soft. add 2 glass of water and simmer for a further 30 minutes. serve with rice.

beef - 700 g, garlic - 2 wedges, vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. spoons, soy sauce - 4 tbsp. spoons, carrots - 4 pcs., tomatoes - 4 pcs.
