this is an old Cossack dish. to prepare it, lamb ribs are cut into pieces, fried in a pan with butter. potatoes, onions, eggplants, carrots, parsnips and parsley roots are also fried separately (there are no strict proportions), cut into large slices. vegetables are mixed with lamb, salted, put into a saucepan or pot, some baked eggplant wiped through a sieve is added, mixed, closed with a lid and languished in the oven until cooked.
