Musaka with vegetables

Cut the fried beef or boneless lamb into small pieces, sprinkle with pepper, salt, chopped parsley greens, mix with fried onions and rice, previously washed and scalded. Cut the pumpkin, peeled from seeds and skin, into slices, salt and fry in oil. Lay the fried pumpkin in an even layer on the bottom of the pan, put a layer of meat with rice on the pumpkin, cover the tomatoes with halves on top, cover the pan with a lid and simmer in the oven until the meat is soft. Serve on the table in the same dish. Pumpkin can be replaced with sweet green pepper, courgette, fresh cabbage.
