peel potatoes, wash and cut into large cubes, put in a saucepan, salt, add onions sautéed on pork lard; pour two glasses of broth or water, simmer under a lid until ready. then add the seasoned, sliced wedges, pickles peeled from the skin and seeds and continue to simmer. 10-15 minutes before you are ready to add chopped fresh tomatoes, finely chopped garlic and sour cream. serve goulash with parsley or dill greens.
