Braised potatoes and cheese
Recipe for stewed potatoes with melted cheese.
Potatoes - 0.5 kg, Onions - 0.5-1 pcs., Carrots - 0.5-1 pcs., Processed cheese (for example, "Amber") - 150-200 g, Salt - 0.5-0.75 tsp, Ground black pepper - 1 pinch, Fresh greens - 20 gPrepare products for stewed potatoes with cheese.
First of all, clean and wash all vegetables. If the onions and carrots are large, then take a half.
Wash the greens and finely chop.
Finely chop the onions. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into thin straws.
Fold the onions and carrots into a saucepan, pour half a cup of water and simmer over a low heat for 5 minutes.
Cut the peeled potatoes into large cubes.
Put the potatoes in a saucepan of onions and carrots.
Salt and pepper.
Simmer over a low heat, stirring, until the potatoes are ready, 20 minutes.
Gradually scoop the melted cheese and stir it in a saucepan with boiling vegetables. When all the cheese is stirred, the dish can be served.
Stewed potatoes and cheese are ready. Serve with a generous sprinkle of finely chopped greens. Enjoy your meal!
