Emptying rice

Go through the rice, rinse, boil with boiling water (without this it will have a taste of flour); drain boiling water and fill rice with hot meat or chicken broth (rice should only be covered with broth), put a piece of oil or margarine, salt and, if desired, allspice or pour in a decoction of saffron; bury turnips or several raw peeled bulbs in the middle of the cereals, close the pot with a lid and steam. After 30 - 40 minutes, try the rice and, if it's ready, take out the turnip or onion and use it as a side dish, minced meat or a stand-alone dish. You can add powdered browned tomato to the rice and warm everything together.
