Pearl barley - 1 cup, Pork (fatty) - 200 g, Onions - 1 pc., Salt - 1 teaspoon (to taste), Ground pepper - to tastePrepare products.
Soak pearl barley in cold water for 2-3 hours.
Then rinse the cereal several times.
Boil 0. 5 l of water, salt. Pour the cereals into boiling salted water and, stirring, cook until thickened.
Then put the pearl barley for an hour and a half in the oven for rest (at a temperature of 150-160 degrees).
Pearl barley is ready.
Cut the pork into flat pieces (up to 1 cm thick).
Salt the meat on both sides.
Heat the pan. Fry the pork on both sides until blush over a low heat under a lid, about 7-8 minutes on each side. (If the pork is low-fat, then 1-2 tbsp of vegetable oil can be added. )
Peel the onions, cut into thin half rings.
Add onions to the meat.
Fry the meat with the onions until tender, stirring, over a medium heat (3-5 minutes).
