cook the potatoes the day before in the peel. grate on a fine grater the next day. grate the apples on a coarse grater, mix with potatoes, egg, ground with sugar. put soda, salt, cinnamon, lemon zest and flour in the oil (or margarine). all this thoroughly stir, put in a well-lubricated mold and oven over a high heat for about 1 hour
