Strawberry syrup

Syrup is boiled from sugar and water, ripe strawberry berries are added and brought to a boil, removed from the heat and maintained for no more than one hour. Then the syrup is boiled for a second time, after which the strawberries are squeezed on a sieve. The resulting syrup is boiled to the required density, citric acid is added and still boiled for 4- 5 minutes and hot poured into dry bottles.
