Elderberry syrup

It is good to squeeze out the elderberry flowers so that not a single bug remains in them. It is not recommended to wash. Sugar, grated lemon zest, citric acid boil in 5 liters of water for 5 minutes. Put the elderberry flowers in a separate dish or jar and pour them with sugar syrup (hot), add lemon, vinegar, chopped into thin circles and stir everything well. Cover the dishes with gauze or cloth and set aside for three days. Stir several times each day with a wooden spoon. Strain and bottle the finished syrup. The syrup remains in the refrigerator for a long time. Consume elderberry syrup, diluting it with sparkling water (you can also use mineral). It's a wonderful tonic drink
