How to make cheese sticks? Mix flour and margarine or butter on a board, then add cheese, egg yolk, diluted in a small amount of warm yeast milk, salt and knead the dough slightly below the average consistency on sour cream. Put the resulting dough on proofing for 1 hour, then roll the sausages out of it, finger-thick and 10 cm long. Put the cheese sticks in a baking sheet, grease their surface with egg yolk and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake cheese sticks until ruddy crust appears.
