Apples in dough
1 serving
Dough is prepared: melted butter is mixed with egg yolks, a tablespoon of milk is poured in, wheat flour, a tablespoon of granulated sugar and salt are poured in. Thoroughly stir and then breed with the remaining milk. Egg whites whipped into thick foam are placed and gently mixed from the bottom up to prevent the proteins from falling off. Apples (better Antonov) are peeled, the core and seeds are removed, cut into even circles about 0. 5 cm thick, poured with sugar and left for 20 - 30 minutes. Each apple circle is taken with a fork, immersed in dough, placed in a pan with warmed oil and fried over low heat till a ruddy crust is formed. A pan with apples is placed in the oven for 5 minutes. Ready-made apples are placed on a plate or dish, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Sour cream or apricot sauce can be served separately.
