Hawthorn puree

Leave the harvested hawthorn fruits for ripening for a day, wash thoroughly, place in a pan of water and cook until softened and boiled. Boiled, wipe the fruits through a sieve, pack the resulting hot mass into sterilized jars. Store in a dry place.
