Fresh tomato puree soup

peeled tomatoes, finely chopped onions, salt, sugar, bay leaf, put in a saucepan, pour a glass of water and put on a low heat. after 30 minutes, remove the bay leaf and wipe the vegetables through a sieve. melt butter in another saucepan and mix it with flour, then pour all the milk into the saucepan with a thin stream. put on fire and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. boil the milk over a low heat for about 5 minutes until it starts to thicken. thoroughly stir the mashed vegetables with milk, salt to taste. serve in cups or plates. separately serve whipped cream or sour cream
