Fig and carrot drink

4 servings

Rinse the figs well in warm water, cut into small pieces, thin in a porcelain mortar or pass through a meat grinder. Pour the prepared figs with boiling water, stir, bring to a boil, set aside from the heat and insist for 1-2 hours; then strain, add the sugar or honey and chill. Rinse the carrots thoroughly, grate on a fine grater, squeeze the juice (it is better to use an electric squeezer) and combine with the cooled fig infusion.

sugar - 2-3 tsp, honey - 2-3 tsp, figs - 1.5 cups, water - 1 l, carrot juice - 1.5 cups
