Fried potato curds (without flour)




Cook the potatoes in the skin, peel and grate. Grind brynza (or cottage cheese) carefully to make pasta, mix with beaten eggs, potatoes and vegetable oil. The mixture must be compact. Cut into round or oval curd cutlets, roll them in flour and fry them on both sides in vegetable oil. Serve hot or cold, sprinkled with powdered sugar or sugar sand. You can serve with sour cream or jam.
