Cook sugar, lemon juice and water until you have a thick, viscous syrup. Add plum peeled and stone to it and cook everything until you have a thick consistency. Add the grated lemon zest and continue to cook until the mass is so thick that the spoon lowered into it stands upright. Cool the cooked mass a little, add almonds chopped with long straws and on a kitchen board, generously sprinkled with sugar-sand, roll thick sausage from it. Dry the product in a dry, warm place. Cut into thin slices before drinking.
