Walnut cream pie
1 serving
Beat the egg whites and sugar into a strong foam, mix the ground walnut core and 120 g of flour. Grease two metal sheets with oil and lightly sprinkle with flour. Spread the mass on the sheets with a knife into uniform layers and bake at moderate temperature until light brown cakes are obtained. Carefully remove the hot cakes from the sheet and cut each into 6 long strips. Layer the cooled strips with cream and put on ice or in the refrigerator. Grease the surface and sides of the pie with melted chocolate and, when set, cut the product into various pieces. In order to prepare the glaze, chocolate must be melted into steam and mixed not very warm with 2 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil.
