Serrski chicken pie
Boil the chicken, cool, peel the meat from the skin and bones. Peel the onions, finely chop and fry in butter. Mix chicken meat with onions. "Khilopita" (noodles) cook for 10 minutes in salted water, cast in a colander, let drain the water, mix the noodles with grated cheese and eggs and mix. Add butter and baking powder to the flour, stir until homogeneous, add a little water and knead the dough. Roll half of the dough into a layer. Grease a 24 by 26 cm baking sheet with butter and line with dough along with the sides. Put the noodles on the dough with an even layer, on the noodles - chicken with onions, sprinkle with grated cheese. Roll out the second half of the dough and cover the cake. Lubricate the surface with an egg, make portion cuts. Bake in the oven at a moderate temperature for 30-35 minutes.
