At the same time, not only excellent gastronomic properties are so appreciated in greens - fresh dill can serve as an excellent decoration for many dishes.

That is why in winter you always want to have this universal green grass called dill on the table. For this, the hostesses resort to various kinds of blanks - in particular, they dry, freeze or preserve it. Canned dill is especially appreciated, which is distinguished by the same attractive and appetising appearance, subtle aroma and pleasant taste.

There is no way to make canned dill - a lot depends on the personal preferences of culinary experts. The modern food industry, for example, provides a finished product called canned dill in 500 milliliter glass jars. The composition of such canned dill includes only two components: fresh dill and table salt. If you see any more supplements on the label, it's time to doubt as a product.

The application of canned dill is similar to the ways of using its fresh counterpart, with the exception of decorative qualities - you will hardly find a jar with whole, outwardly perfect sprigs of this fragrant grass. In other cases, crushed canned dill is a universal supplement to a huge list of dishes.

The properties of canned dill are undoubted and useful for the human body - its use helps to increase appetite, improve digestive processes, and reduce cramps. This spicy herb, even in canned form, has diuretic and quenching effects. In large quantities, canned dill contains valuable ascorbic acid, fiber, folate acid and potassium. Dill is also appreciated for the presence of a number of antioxidants, and it also has an anti-inflammatory effect, positively affecting the oral cavity.

People with cancer are advised to use both fresh and canned dill, as it helps to reduce the negative consequences after undergoing chemotherapy - it normalizes the activity of the gastrointestinal tract. When inhaled, dill fumes are able to alleviate the course of respiratory diseases - such as bronchitis or asthma.
