Camel milk

Camel milk...

Camel milk, which is a traditional product for Eastern cuisine, has excellent taste and enhanced nutritional qualities. This healthy drink, like cow's milk, is characterized by a white color along with a pleasant sweet taste due to the quality of water and food consumed by female camels.

As you know, in some countries of Central Asia, as well as in the United Arab Emirates, camel milk is not considered something unusual and outlandish - it will sell everyday food. Moreover, it is customary to use it not only as a nutritious drink, but also to use it for culinary purposes. Most often, camel milk acts as the basis for the manufacture of local types of cheese. In addition, the most delicious ice cream and cocoa drink are often prepared from this milk.

Kazakh nomads traditionally make drinks from sour camel milk, which are called kumys and shubat. To do this, a starter is placed in a leather bag, to which fresh camel milk is added. After some time (from a day to three), the contents are thoroughly mixed and fed to the table.

In addition, camel milk is also popular in distant Switzerland, where it is used as an important component for making delicatessen chocolate varieties. By the way, such unusual chocolate is characterized by a very peculiar, exquisitely brackish taste and is appreciated by many foodies.

Camel milk has been consumed in Asia since the first camel was domesticated - in Arabia it happened around 2000 BC. To this day, the product has not lost its popularity due to the numerous beneficial properties of camel milk and its excellent taste.

The main food of camels is the tumbleweed, which is found in large quantities in deserts. It is noteworthy that this plant includes many useful mineral and biologically active substances. By the way, from the "tumbleweed" local residents even make a special decoction, which is subsequently used as a highly effective means in the fight against various harmful bacteria and microbes.

It is thanks to the fact that camels feed on this thorn that their milk acquires the necessary nutrition. Camel milk is much like cow's milk in its composition and calorie content. Every year, a female camel, which in desert areas is the only source of milk, can produce from 1-2 thousand kilograms of this delicious natural product.

The beneficial properties of camel milk are contained in this drink: it contains many useful minerals - calcium, zinc, iron, potassium, sodium, cobalt and phosphorus, as well as vitamins of group B and C. Regular use of this product contributes to strengthening immunity and improving health in general.
