Among all domestic dairy products, melted cheese was especially popular from the first day of its production. Industrial melted chocolate cheese also contains food additives in its chemical composition, namely emulsifiers, usually sodium salts, as well as preservatives and antioxidants.

The above mentioned food additives help to impart a special consistency to the melted chocolate cheese, and also to maintain the distinctive taste and consumer qualities of the product for a longer period of time. Melted chocolate cheese is distinguished by its softness, as well as easily smelting consistency. As a rule, the fat content of melted chocolate cheese reaches 30%.

The average caloric content of melted chocolate cheese is 311 kcal. However, it should be noted that the caloric level as well as other consumer characteristics of chocolate melted cheese may vary depending on the type and method of production of the product. Modern food manufacturers offer a wide variety of processed chocolate cheeses.
