Many naively believe that barbecue sauce is something like soy sauce or special ketchup, that is, a specific sauce, while there are countless varieties of this delicious seasoning. The fact is that barbecue sauce is called almost any sauce that fits meat cooked over an open fire. The flavour and aroma of the final product directly depend on the personal preferences of the person making the barbecue sauce.

It remains only to figure out how to cook it. It seems that everything is easier - they got acquainted with the composition of the barbecue sauce and made it from these ingredients. Not a bit! There are a great many variations in the preparation of this sauce: from banal mixing of products to painstaking work with vegetables and spices.

Barbecue Sauce Composition

Meanwhile, barbecue sauce, which can also be used as a great marinade, is subdivided into tomato, mustard, with mayonnaise, using liquid smoke and a wide variety of varieties of pepper and seasoning.

If, for example, ketchup is present in the barbecue sauce, it is recommended to add ordinary tomato paste so that there is no distortion in taste. Making mustard barbecue sauces, you can also use mustard at your discretion - from spicy Russian mustard to soft Dijon.

Table vinegar acid, which is also included in barbecue sauce, can be adjusted based on your own taste preferences. So, vinegar can be from weak to 9%, and sometimes even stronger. In short, by trial and error, if you are interested, you can achieve an excellent result that your loved ones will appreciate.

Finally, I would like to note that the most common recipe for barbecue sauce is one that includes components such as tomato paste, onions, brown sugar, table vinegar, olive oil, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard and red ground pepper.
