Lime oil

Lime oil...

Lime oil, along with all citrus oils, can be produced by pressing the peel of the fruits of the lime tree, which is cultivated mainly in Central and North America. However, in view of the very low yield of the desired substance which is produced by this method, lime oil produced exclusively by steam distillation is a commercial product.

Externally, cold-pressed lime oil is an easily fluid, pale yellow or yellow-green liquid that has a fresh, slightly sweet citrus flavor close to the smell of fresh fruit.

The main components of natural lime oil are limonene, cymen, alpha- and beta-pinene, terpinolene, gamma-terpinene, terpinen-4-ol, alpha-terpineol, geraniol, linalool, 1, 8-cineol, nutcaton, beta-bisabolene, citral, geranylacetate, myrcene and beta-caryophyllene.

The distinctive property of lime oil can also be called its ability to accelerate recovery from severe diseases, since it is an excellent natural immunostimulator. Due to the beneficial effect on the psychoemotional and somatic areas of our health, this oil is recommended for use in the climacteric period, as well as in order to eliminate stresses and neurocircular dystonia.
