In addition, sweet mustard, like other varieties of the product, improves appetite and favorably affects the digestive and metabolic processes in the human body. Sweet mustard is not only used as a sauce in its own right. Often, meat and fish ingredients of future dishes are marinated or baked in mustard sauce. Sweet mustard can be prepared without much difficulty and effort at home. In order to prepare sweet mustard, the following ingredients will be needed: mustard grains or powder, sugar, vegetable or olive oil, salt, flour and wine vinegar. If you use mustard grains, then they should be ground beforehand. Mustard grains are ground either to a powdered state, or small pieces of grains are left. The mustard is mixed with flour and then water is added and the mixture is left to stand for a while. After 20 minutes, wine vinegar, salt and sugar are added to the mustard mixture.

The resulting mixture must be thoroughly mixed by hand or using a blender. In addition to the above ingredients, you can add sweet ground black pepper, basil, lemon zest or tarragon to homemade mustard, as well as a little table horseradish. Homemade sweet mustard will be distinguished by its rich taste and aroma. The sauce will perfectly emphasize the merits of your culinary masterpieces from meat, fish or vegetables.
