In its culinary essence, horseradish sauces are seasoning that contributes to improving the taste and, in addition, aromatic characteristics of the finished culinary product. Based on the name, the basis of horseradish sauces is the rhizomes of the plant, which contains a large amount of essential oil in its chemical composition, which determines the taste and aroma of the finished culinary product.

Horseradish sauces most often include ingredients such as beets or mustard, as well as sour cream, mayonnaise or carrots. It is worth noting that modern food manufacturers offer consumers a fairly extensive species range of horseradish sauces. True, in the process of preparing sauces with horseradish, manufacturers often use various food additives, which often negatively affect human health.

Horseradish sauce can be easily prepared at home. To do this, peel and grate the horseradish root, then put in a container, salt and add sugar to taste. Then mix the horseradish with the beetroot grated finely. To improve the consistency of the finished horseradish sauce, a little mayonnaise is added to the product.
