Tuna shavings

Tuna shavings...

Without unnecessary modesty, we can say that tuna fish around the world is known not only for its huge size, but also, above all, for the excellent gastronomic qualities of its magnificent meat. Therefore, it is quite clear that in view of the special interest in this inhabitant of the deep sea, modern manufacturers are trying in every possible way to diversify the range of tuna-based products.

In particular, today on sale you can find not only frozen or chilled tuna, which is presented both in its entirety and in the form of fillet. Salted tuna or smoked tuna is in no way inferior to taste. And canned tuna has long been a favorite ingredient of many chefs - they use it when making all kinds of salads.

Tuna chips, which are otherwise called bonito, are in special honor among the culinary workers of the Land of the Rising Sun. By the way, it was thanks to this product that the world famous Japanese dish was called Bonito Maki rolls. They are practically a classic roll, turned inside out and sprinkled with tuna chips. You get a kind of shaggy rolls, which are distinguished by a special taste and a pleasant aroma.

In addition, tuna chips are not only used in making rolls or sushi. It can be used as an independent dish as a delicious snack, as well as added to hot rice. However, first of all, tuna shavings together with kombu are used to make Japanese soups, as well as broths, which are called dashi. And, of course, tuna chips are an excellent decoration or decor for a wide variety of Japanese meals.

The manufacturing process of this product is also interesting. So, in order to make tuna chips, at first the fish fillet is boiled - this is done to remove excess fat. After that defatted fish fillet is subjected to smoking process and subsequent drying. The tuna fillets are dried until they are as hard as stone. Stroganina from hardened fillet, that is, the necessary chips of tuna, is made on a special board, which is installed in a special box. By the way, the finished product should not be confused with karanga or mackerel planine, whose aromas are far from the quality and taste of tuna chips.

The inhabitants of the East appreciate all tuna-based products not only for their excellent taste, but also for their huge benefits to the body. This is quite justified, because in the composition of this fish (and therefore in the chips of tuna) there is a considerable amount of vitamins, amino acids, micro and macronutrients.
