Fish called stervryuga are quite difficult to confuse with other inhabitants of the seabed, except with related sturgeon. It is distinguished by its long nose, which has the shape of a dagger, a narrow and smooth mustache, as well as a bulging forehead. Due to such an unusual appearance, the sevryuga fish looks great on any festive table on which it can become a real decoration.

Meanwhile, stervryug fish belong to the sturgeon family and live mainly in the Black, Caspian and Azov Seas basins. In much smaller quantities, this species of fish can also be found in the Aral, Adriatic and Aegean seas.

Sevryuga fish are very highly valued from a commercial point of view. In general, it is customary to distinguish between the 2 main varieties of this fish - winter and spring. Today, there are cold and hot smoked sevryug fish on store shelves, as well as frozen, chilled and in the form of a beam. It is worth noting that due to its very tender, fatty and fragrant meat, stervryug fish is widely used for culinary purposes. Sevryugu is baked in the oven, steamed, and braised in broth, cream or wine. This fish is simply perfect with a mushroom and vegetable side dish, as well as gourmet and savoury sauces that are made with fruit.

Sevryuga fish is not only unusually tasty, but also healthy. It contains a significant amount of protein, and the connective tissues of this fish contain collagen, which dissolves with ease. Thanks to such features, most of the nutrients that are rich in sevryuga fish are quickly absorbed in the human body. In addition, sevryug fish contains a considerable amount of vitamins A, C, PP, E and group B. It also includes many of the most valuable micro- and macronutrients - magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, fluorine and many others.

Severuga fish is highly valued and due to the significant content of polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6, which are distinguished by high physiological activity. By the way, despite the increased fat content of sevryuga fish, its meat is not particularly high in calories - about 160 kcal per hundred grams. It has been proven that regular consumption of this seafood reduces the risk of cardiovascular ailments.
