It is noteworthy that this fish of blue-green and yellow color can reach 40 kilograms, but mostly individuals of no more than a kilogram go on sale.

The useful properties of the dorado, along with its excellent gastronomic qualities, have made this fish the hallmark of many world cuisines, especially in the Mediterranean regions. The most delicious is the dorado fish weighing about 500 grams, which allows you to cook it both in portions and whole. Dorado of these sizes can be fried, baked in foil or even banana leaves. It is often stuffed, like a walleye, or fish cutlets are prepared from dorado.
